About the Bio Innovation Resource Hub
Why a Bio Innovation Resource Hub?
Anyone can have a new idea, but do you have the tools to navigate from idea to market?
AHIA, a program of Emory University, and AfricaBio joined forces in Spring 2020 to create the Bio Innovation Resource Hub in response to the rapidly changing innovation space during the COVID-19 pandemic. New research, data, and ideas from around the world circulate so quickly, African innovators need a dependable central source of curated information to support their innovative journies. You can find that source here, in the Bio Innovation Resource Hub.
Consider this site a ‘starter kit’ to:
1) Orient you to trusted, reliable resources via our Resource Hub
2) Keep you up-to-date with the latest webinars and events in bio innovation, COVID-19 response, and entrepreneurship in Africa
3) Provide you a curated list of funding options to take your innovation to the next level.
Mission
The Bio Innovation Resource Hub will connect innovators in Africa with trustworthy, timely information in order to inform their innovation, provide a strong evidence-base, and spark new ways of thinking.
Vision
Researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors from every continent will collaborate on innovative solutions that improve the health & wellbeing of all people and our planet.
